The Side Door Coffee House, located in the West Island area of Montreal (Pierrefonds, Quebec) is a non-profit venue that presents a monthly evening of live entertainment. Popular with musicians from all over Canada and the Northeastern United States, the Side Door usually hosts three or four acts per evening in a variety of genres including folk, jazz, blues, country, bluegrass, Celtic, classical and spoken word.
The Tilted Steeple Coffee House, held monthly in the hall of St. James Anglican Church in Morrisburg, Ontario, presents a variety of local musical talent in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Organized in partnership with St. James, with the help of a great team of volunteers, the coffee house gives both aspiring and experienced musicians an opportunity to perform in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Proceeds from the event are donated to a local refugee sponsorship project.
